DPG PRP Activators

To activate PRP we use the known solution based on gluconate calcium chloride. The first step in obtaining PRP is a blood draw from the patient. The tube is centrifuged to separate it into three parts: a bottom layer with red blood cells, a top layer with plasma, and a middle layer containing the plasma that is richest in platelets. Using a syringe, this middle layer is extracted from the tube and combined with calcium gluconate in a specific ratio of one part of calcium gluconate to a certain number of parts of plasma. This causes platelet degranulation and the release of the growth factors. It also causes the PRP to thicken, turning it into a gel. Activation with calcium gluconate is fundamental for PRP to achieve its complete bioregenerative action. Its principal benefit lays in its ability to release growth factors. So, PRP activated with calcium gluconate has a significantly higher concentration of growth factors than un-activated PRP: PDGF (Platelet Derived Growth Factor), TGF-B (Transforming Growth Factor Beta), EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor), VEFG (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor), FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor).

Growth factors have positive effects on both the dermis and the epidermis. Their functions include stimulating cell growth and differentiation and also fostering the formation of blood vessels to provide more oxygen to tissues in need of repair. Most notably, growth factors encourage the migration and proliferation of fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are the most common type of cell found in connective tissue. Moreover, they are fundamental in promoting the synthesis of collagen and elastin.

We are providing to CE marking the following tubes in III risk class under MDR: they contain substances that have function of activate better the platelets contained in PRP obtained from blood centrifugation of the basic tube with gel/liquid separating system.

One of its main features is to bind water, maintaining the right level of tissue hydration at the same time. Its a non-crosslinked HA formulation and is used for the bio-revitalization and restructuring of tissue quality and skin texture while the PRP works on the cellular division and activating fibroblasts.
