Successful method to promote hair regrowth

Innovative program to reduce hairloss

DPG PRP Product description

PRP is a regenerative therapy, which allows the sampling of platelets rich in growth factors from the patient. The platelets are then used in several therapeutic fields and aesthetic treatments, from skin rejuvenation to hair regrowth. Positive outcomes are observed in 80% of cases.

DPGPRP have successfully been used in PRP treatments against hair conditions such as Androgenetic Alopecia, Alopecia Aerata, Cicatricial Alopecia and Alopecia Universalis.

How is the PRP treatment performed?

PRP is a treatment, which takes about 30-45 minutes.

No surgical tools are needed in this procedure but if you have bleeding problems or liver function is always advisable to make a preliminary assessment in a doctor’s clinic especially on platelet function (examination blood count).

A blood sampling is performed in order to collect some blood containing red cells, white cells, and platelets. After being collected in our vacum sterile tubes is then put into a centrifuge and spinned at 4,000RPM for 5 mins so that its watery part (plasma) can be isolated. As a result, the plasma gets enriched with an amount of platelets five to ten times bigger than the normal blood concentrations. The platelets are subsequently isolated from the rest of the red and white blood cells. Once the plasma has been isolated, it gets suctioned through the test tubes into a syringe and ready to be injected.

Certain physicians prefer to add small amounts of activators such as Calcium Chloride /Batroxabin or add Biotin to the plasma, thus activating the plasma and allowing the release of growth factors within the platelets.

The purpose of this procedure is allowing the release of growth factors within the platelets: The activator breaks the walls of the platelets and growth factors are thus released from the broken platelets and attracted within the plasma. The plasma is then suctioned with a syringe and injected with a small needle into the area to be treated.

The platelet concentrate is then injected with a very thin needle in the scalp followed by a gentle massage to encourage the distribution.

The patient can immediately return to any activities and social work.

How can PRP be used in Dermatology? What advantages does PRP have?

In the therapy of hair conditions platelet growth factors are capable of regulating the life cycle of bulbs, thus ensuring a better growth of hair shafts and stimulation through the scalp stem cells. As a result, a regrowth of hair and even increases in its density are obtained in 80% of cases.

PRP is a safe treatment causing no side effects and no allergic reactions. In addition, the administration of PRP causes no pain as it delivered through micro-needles or iontophoresis.
