Protection and the procedure
In today’s healthcare environment, it’s more important than ever for clinicians to be equipped with proper protective apparel. AAMI PB70 guidelines are the accepted Levels of classification for protective apparel based on liquid barrier performance. Dermoaroma D-Biotech* Isolation Gowns conform to AAMI Levels 1, 2 & 3.
Dermoaroma D-Biotech* Isolation Gowns provides barrier protection based on AAMI guidelines and avoid the risk of contamination and transmission of infectious organisms.
Manufacturing & Assurance of Standards
Dermoaroma D-Biotech* manufactures Nonwoven Fabrics SMS with 3 layers and Isolation Gowns on its own factory and ensures AAMI PB70 Guidelines are met each batch every batch with its state of the art inhouse Laboratory.

Protection for health care workers and patients.
With the advent of COVID-19, requirements of PPE become more vital. PPE, when made with proper materials, can also be effective as the first line of defence against contact transfer of bloodborne pathogens and droplets. Dermoaroma D-Biotech* isolation gowns provide an unmatched combination of protection from liquid strikethrough and also from penetration by live bacteria and spores. Right protection both healthcare workers and patients need.
Dermoaroma D-Biotech* – Beyond AAMI
To meet AAMI Guidelines, protective apparel must achieve minimum performance standards for strength, barrier performance and fluid resistance.
Each garment must be fully protected through the critical zones and be clearly labelled to indicate the level of protection provided, from AAMI Level 1 (lowest) to AAMI Level 4 (highest). D-Biotech 1, D-Biotech 2 and D-Biotech 3 Isolation Gowns meet all AAMI specifications for Level 1, 2 and 3 protection.
In the fight against highly contagious deceases like Covid-19, reducing the risk of transfer of infectious organisms by contact is an important strategy. The ability of a gown to protect against the transfer of pathogens from the environment to the wearer’s work clothes or scrubs is a big advantage in reducing the spread of infectious agents. Gowns should be able to resist penetration by live organisms, bacterial spores and droplets.

Materials descriptions
Spunbound Polypropylene
Standard, cost-effective and comfortable
For fabric infection control, this non-woven fabric bounds fibers together to form a single layer that is appropriate only for every minimal fluid exposure.
Spunbound
SMS Material
A balanced mix of protection and comfort
Strong and breathable, sound bound / Metblown/Spunbound (SMS) is a multi-layer fabric composed of inner layers of meltblown poly- propylene between outer layers of spun bound polypropylene that is ideal for extended wear. Light/Medium weight SMS is appropriate for a low amount of fluid and heavyweight SMS may be appropriate for a moderate contract with fluids.
